Four-hands cooking for the Refugee Food Festival

June 18th, Spoon welcomes Peruvian chef Luis Ramirez.

Arrived in France four years ago with his wife and daughter, Luis Ramirez is an experienced cook who ran three restaurants in Lima. With the complicity of Spoon’s chef, Hisanobu Shigeta, he offers a special tasting menu to discover the diversity of Peruvian cuisine.

This event is part of the Refugee Food project, which aims at changing the way refugees are considered, facilitating their professional integration into the catering industry and working for fair, sustainable and diversified food for all. This 7th edition of the event will see a blossoming of initiatives in eleven cities in France.

This is Spoon’s second participation to this festival. Last year, it was the Mauritanian chef Harouna Sow who was welcomed.
